Okay, all the variables are accounted for now. Lets do the exponents now.

(-2)^2 = 4

(-3)^3 = -27

(5)^2 = 25

Let's fill in the missing values:

2(4) + 3(-27) - (4) + 4(25) - (4)

Multiply what needs to be multiplied.

(8) + (-81) - (4) + (100) - (4)

The (8) is cancelled out by the two - (4)s.

(-81) + (100)

100 - 81 = 19

I went to webs.com, made an account, and from there they have some steps (such as general theme, types of pages). However, it really depends on what type of site you're making.

I did both of them.

I used distance/avg. speed for this problem.

20/8 = 2.5 hours

Avg. speed increases by 2 MPH

6.2/10 = 0.62 hours = approx. 37 minutes

[1B]

2.5 + 0.62 = 3.12 hours

3.12 hours < 3.2 hours

You beat your friend. This is because you took 0.08 hours less to finish that your friend.
