Guys, I ended up figuring it out :) 

For those who want to know the answer:

It's n+2 choose 2. That's because you can let n be a number of pieces of candy, and let x, y, and z be the number of candies you give each of 3 kids. Now, applying the Hockey Stick Identity, the answer would be n+3-1 choose 3-1, which is n+2 choose 2. 

Try writing a in terms of b or b in terms of a to solve the equation. Like: a = b + 1. Then just replace it: a^3 - b^3 = (b-1)^3 - b^3 = 1. Expand, simplify, solve. 

Post #1 probably isn't the real GA, as the real one probably wouldn't make such an obvious mistake. 

Answer is 5. 

Nope. Still definetely not GA, since the answer is far from 420.

Let the numbers be x and y. x + y = 15 and x - y = 4. Add the equations to get 2x = 19, so x = 19/2 and y = 11/2.

... that's so easy, just go plug it into a calculator and you'll get the answer.
