You cannot add or subtract fractions unless the bottoms are the same.
The bottoms (denominators) are 5, 2, and 3
What is the smallest number that can be divided by all of these?
5*6=30
2*15=30
3*10=30
so all the fractions can be changed to something over 30.
\(\frac{4}{5}*\frac{6}{6}=\frac{24}{30}\)
Now do the other 2 yourself and then the answer will be 24-what you get for 1/2 +what you get for 1/3all over 30.
