Reporting problems.
There are a number of people having problems at the moment.
If you lodge an error can you please give all relevant information that you can think of.
Where you are in the world - the city or the country - is often very important information.

How to make an empty rectangle in Latex
I just worked out how to make an empty box of various horizonal size easily in LaTex.
This is not a recommended method, but other methods that I have tried here have not worked.
This coding is really simple. Just put letters inside

Very interesting question. No high level maths required.
This question was posted a couple of days ago.

I think it is really interesting. It looks much more difficult than it really needs to be.

Some guidelines for question askers.
Please note:
1) Ask only one question per post.
2) When asking a question talk about what you have tried for yourself. Then people will take you more seriously and will be more able and willing to help.
3) If you get an answer

-1/5a-3-4=2a
[ Note: -1/5*a = -a/5 ]
1. Simplify the left hand side
2. Multiply both sides by 5
3. Add a to both sides
4. divide both sides to the number in front of a
5. swap sides.

This would depend mainly on the altitude you were flying at and the ascent and descent angle from that height.
I have assumed that holding patterns don't count and that you didn't have to detour around any mountains etc.
That is, you flew directly to your destination.
Also, you have not made it clear whether the 2000km is the ground distance or the air distance.
Anyway, the air distance would be slightly more than the ground distance.

ok, I've done some research and i think that you mean all the possible groups of 1 player plus all the possible groups of 2 players up to all the possible groups of 25 players. But the order the players are chosen is also important.
I used excel to help me get the answer.
I got 4.21638E+25 different permutations possible
I divided this by a trillion to get the number of seconds it would take
then I divided by 60 to get minutes
then I divided by 60 to get hours
then I divided by 24 to get days
then I divided by 365.25 to get years
My answer is 1,336,091 years.

I am sorry but I am not familiar with your terminology.
list all the sequential coalitions of 25 players?
Do you mean all the possible combinations of 25 players, whether there is/are 1,2,3,.....or 25 players in the individual group?

(-2^2)^3 = ?
(-2^3)^2 = ?
(-2^3)^3 = ?
If you put these into your calculator just as is they will be neg, pos, neg repectively.
If I do them in my head they will be pos, pos, neg respectively.
Since only the first one will be different I will try to show you why
(-2^2)^3 = ?
The calculator will treat this like (-1*2*2)^3 = -64
I would treat it like (-2*-2)^3 = 64
I think the second way is the convention on how it should be done but it is always wise to put in brackets to show whether on not you want the minus sign inclued in the squaring.
Does this answer your question?

Do you mean 1.8% per annum (year) compounded monthly. This would be 1.8% / 12=0.15% per month compounded monthly.
OR
do you mean 1.8% per month compounded monthly? This would be 1.8%*12 =21.6% per year compounded monthly?
I will assume you mean the first one.
1.8% per annum (year) compounded monthly. This would be 1.8% / 12 = 0.15% per month compounded monthly.
n=8*12=96 months
A=$3000
i = 0.15% = 0.0015
Future value = A*(1+i)
n
Future value = 3000*(1+0.0015)
96
Future value = $3364.28

Yes you can do this
t is the horizontal axis and h is the vertical axis.
start with t=0, h=20
then you can sub in other vaues of t to get more points.
It might also be useful to solve the equation for t for h=0. That will tell you how long before the ball fits the ground.
This will be an end point of the graph.
You may also recognise this function as a concave down parabola, with the vertex at (0,20) [first quadrant only, of course, for this problem]

((m^3n^0)/((2m^-2n^2)*-n^4)4)^3
There is room for this to be misinterpreted.
for example -4
n
could mean (-4)
n
or it may mean -(4
n
)
I interpreted it as (-4)
n
anyway, it got really messy so I did it on a piece of paper.
I could have made a mistake, I often make careless mistakes, but I think it is okay.

Start by letting the 2 consecutive even numbers be
n and n+2
then set up an equation for
'the sum of the larger and twice the smaller is 62'
then solve the equation.
