The puzzle:

I looked at this for 15 mins before giving up and looking.

Puzzle 1: Point to leftmost card and ask "Is there an ace to right of this card?"

   This would only work if the jack isn't the middle.

    Other that that, I'm stumped..(only thought on it for 10 minutes)

I always explain it as 0 can got into anything and infinite amount of times and none, createing a paradox. Because you cannot determine how many times nothing goes into a number, it is classified as undetermined.
