Whats a integer?
An integer is a whole number, that is not a fraction, nor a decimal, nor imaginary.
It can be positive or negative, or zero. Examples: –223, –14, 0, 2, 5, 76, 1066
The following examples are not integers: 7/16, 22/7, 1.414, 1.61803, 3.1416
Note that, although 7/16 is not an integer, 7 and 16, taken individually, are integers.
