The weight of a box of chocolates is 2.2 pounds. After taking out 3/4 of the chocolates, the remaining chocolates and the box weigh 0.7 pounds. What is weight of the box and the weight of the chocolates before any chocolates were taken out?
B+C= 2.2
B+0.25C=0.7
subtract
0.75C=1.5
C=1.5/0.75 = 2 lbs
The chocs weigh 2 lbs and the box weighs 0.2lbs
You are better of to copy and paste the adress of a question that you want answered.
Then we can bounce straight over to it and you would be much more likely to get an answer from us :)
