TitaniumRome is correct in that the answer cannot be written down in digits and be absolutely correct.

So it comes down to the degree of accuracy

Obviously the more accuracy pi has before you square it, the more accuracy the square will have.

$${\mathtt{\pi}} = {\mathtt{3.141\: \!592\: \!653\: \!589\: \!793\: \!2}}$$

is a closer approximation than $$3.14$$

So when you square it the answer will also be more accurate.

okay I will give you a different one and then you can do your own.

You want your answer in scientific notation. :)

first you need to realise that there is an invisable decimal point at the end of all whole numbers

Now you need to writ the number with just one non-zero number in front to the decimal point

5.463871206

Now in order to do this you had to jump the decimal point 9 places.

It jumped over the 6, the 0, the 2, the 1, the 7, the 8, the 3, the 6, and the 4.  THAT is 9 paces.

So the power  will be 9

this is a realy big number, (much bigger than 10) so the power will be positive

5463871206=5.463871206 x 10⁹

Today I have been in contact with the owner and developer of this site, Mr Massow.  I mentioned only a couple of issues, the main one was the unwanted pornography that has been invading our site.  I asked him if we could make this a members only site, he did not respond to this, I know it is not what he wants but he says he has been working on a website update for the past 5 months and it will be implemented soon.
