I think it is a classroom competition question because it has been asked by about a dozen different guests in a matter of about an hour.

People are obviously cheating. It was most likely a fun exercise and there was some small reward for the first on to present the answer.  Or maybe it was in a bigger competition. 

No matter, there is no doubt in my mind that ALL of the askers are cheating.

I am sticking by my solution. I do not believe any of the given answers are correct.

If you are given a worked answers that gives a different answer from me, please present it here.

I answered this one not very long ago. You could go look for my solution..

2\log{(a -2b)} = \log{a} + \log{b}.

\(2\log{(a -2b)} = \log{a} + \log{b}\\ \log{(a -2b)^2} = \log{(a*b)}\\ (a-2b)^2=ab\)

etc

P(old,old)= 3/10 * 2/10 = 6/100

P(new ,old) = 7/10*3/10 = 21/100

P(the second one is old ) = (6+21)/100  = 27/100

P looks like about 260 degrees in a clockwise direction of the positive x axis, half that is 130 degrees.

    So which is a  possible answer?

Or I could say that P looks like about -100 degrees in a clockwise direction of the positive x axis, half that is -50 degrees.

    So is there another possible answer?

Don't you know how to do synthetic division?  There are plenty of good You Tube clips on it.
