e represents a number like $${\mathtt{\pi}}$$ is a special number. Both these numbers have very special properties.

 $${\mathtt{e}} = {\mathtt{2.718\: \!281\: \!828\: \!459\: \!045\: \!2}}$$

This is an approximation, e is an irrational number so it cannot be written exactly as a fraction or a decimal.

GST stands for goods and services tax.

This is a general tax on things that you buy and services that you use. 

In Australia it is 10%.  I think in New Zealand it is a little higher.

Not all countries have a GST so when people talk about things like this (in our international forum) they should really explain what they are referring to.

The modulus is just the remainder I think

So 10 Mod 6 = 4

because if you divide 10 by 6 you get a remainder of 4

Mod questions can  get very difficult but I think that this is the basic idea.
