Yes Rosala that is excellent.  

My method that I described is good fo all sorts of questions.  You should think about it and make good use of it.  

Okay for my easy example you would have

$$5^2=25$$

For your harder question you would have 

$$N^2=2401$$

There are N children in the class.  Each child gives N repees.  That is a total of N*N rupees.

But you are told that 2401 rupees are saved up.

so  $$N*N=2401$$

Does that make more sense Rosala?

This might be cheating just a little bit. i am not sure  They are called grouping symbols  

$$\\(149+39+22)/(11-9+3)=2+2(+3^2-4+3\times 5)\\\\\\
210/5=2+2(9-4+15)\\
42=2+2(20)\\
42=42$$

When ever you get a difficult question you try to think of a similar style question that is much easier.

If you can do the easy one then you can use the same method and get the answer to the hard one.

Say there are 5 children in the class.  Then each child would donate 5 rupees.  

That would be a total of 5+5+5+5+5=25 rupees  OR 5^2 rupees.

NOW in your class you do not know how many students there are so just let there be N students.

Can you set up the equation and solve it now Rosala.

If you can't I will do more but it would be really good if you could finish it on your own. 

I will assume that every table has the same number of baskets.

Each basket has B+4 strawberries in it.

So on one table there must be B*(B+4) strawberries.

There are five tables so there must be 5B(B+4) strawberries.
